OZU is a place of exchange, of encounter, of collaboration, of the new. It’s a place to meet the “other”, where everything can happen.
Living at OZU are artists and craftsmen from various disciplines producing and promoting culturally diverse projects.

Ozu is an active member of Trans Europe Halles www.teh.net, the European network of independent cultural centres and Res Artis www.resartis.org, the worldwide network of artist residencies and residential art centres.

Changing room is a two-year pilot project by Trans Europe Halles looking for new ways of stimulating cross-border mobility of cultural operators. By testing a staff exchange and training programme involving 25 member centers in 15 countries Trans Europe Halles will identify today’s barriers and opportunities for the circulation of cultural operators. Changing room also offers training workshops open to participants outside of Trans Europe Halles and a special workshop retreat for cultural leaders. A public on-line mobility tool kit and a first-of-its-kind study by The Sibelius Academy will be one of the key results of CHANGING ROOM. The project will provide a topical insight on mobility of independent cultural operators today and how best to raise its value.
